  • Jim Lodermeier, proprietor of the Alma Fishing Float, reports on the hot mixed-bag fishing for walleyes, catfish and panfish on the Mississippi River.
  • Captain Roger LaPenter, proprietor of Anglers All in Ashland, Wisconsin, tells us this has been the best summer in memory for smallmouth, trout and salmon fishing on Lake Superiors Chequamegon Bay. The fishings still great in Ashland County, and bear season opens Sept. 3.,
